"The Sounds of Taiwanese History" leads an audio-visual journey beyonds text. Originates from passion for Taiwanese history and the reflection on traditional history education. Compared with the tedious essays in the text books, we created three installation books combining sounds, visual, and interactive elements. Hope viewers can rediscover and understand Taiwanese history through this project. "The Sounds of Taiwanese History"contains three interactive audio installation books. Within unique sound structures, using collisions, melodies, rhythms to create historical atmosphere from Qing Dynasty to post-war Taiwan. With the visual combining 3D Modeling and graphic design, viewers can follow the small sphere rolls within, and understand this history through a fully immersive experience.
