Proposals for picnics aimed at stimulating local tourism and improving circulation
In order to revitalise tourism in the Mukojima area of Sumida-ku, Tokyo, and to create opportunities for people to tour the area, a proposal was made for a "Sumipic", where people can take out food and drink from restaurants in Mukojima and have a picnic in Sumida Park. The proposal was based on the fact that the Mukojima area has a good selection of restaurants and that Sumida Park is a perfect picnic spot with a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Proposal for a new play environment using waste materials outside children's play centres Children at the Asobi University and schoolchildren's facilities use waste materials from the town factories in Sumida Ward as play materials and play freely with their crafts. However, the collection of materials by adults may also have the potential to become children's play. In this study, various investigations and verifications were carried out with a focus on material recovery in order to explore the possibilities of children's play and create a new play environment.
