Proposal for a revitalisation measure using the 'inner circle' of the “Kira Kira Tachibana shopping street
The Kira Kira Tachibana shopping street is characterised by close communication between shopkeepers and customers. While this feature is an attraction for regular customers, it is also a reason for people who are not familiar with the shopping arcade to avoid using it. This study examines the contradictory nature of this 'inner circle' and explores ways of attracting new customers to shopping streets by making use of it.
