四點設計 Contact to Human-bee symbiotic hives for cooperation

The concept of human-bee symbiosis, combined with the SDGs of "conservation of terrestrial ecology", is different from the common rectangular beehives, the appearance is mainly natural hives combined with flower buds, the use of environmentally friendly materials to reduce the burden on the environment, leisure beekeeping at the same time, but also advocate the importance of bee conservation.

The beehives born for leisure beekeeping advocate the ecological conservation of bees, and the materials are mainly degradable bamboo, cotton and linen and other natural materials. This opening makes recreational beekeeping management more convenient. Lace is discounted at the openings to reduce sunlight entering the hive. The shape as a whole is a bud, and the petals are for the idea.

sosogi –Kiso Powerplant Hotel Project–

Department of Design, ICS College of Arts

The remains of former Kiso Powerplant that emerges from the water during summer. Attracted by the beauty of this ruin, the proposal is to reuse it as a hotel. Taking advantage of the structural reinforcements that are constructed against the original architectural design, thin steel lattice is used in the design as ‘transparent reinforcement’. The floor slabs are inserted into the structure as a metaphor of the scenery from the past. The meaning of one staying in this architecture is articulated by the summer wind and flow of the river, and dim light layered curtains.
