Japan is a country rich in public bath and spa facility, but such places for children’s use are still rare. The proposal aims ‘the first baby spa in Japan’ sponsored by SHISEIDO, targeting mothers and babies to experience a well being space. The façade arch incorporates scale of mother and child. The interior consists of original furniture and ornaments along the 24 scenes. The scent of wood and round shapes are to express warmth and tenderness of a mother’s care.

Four Seasons Fragrance

Using flowers, vines, and feminine poses... along with four square window frames of varying sizes filled with bright sunlight, the artwork shows the beautiful moments that mothers and daughters experience together over time. The piece includes fragrant decorative objects and two ring designs suitable for different age groups.
