四點設計 Contact to Read the World's Greatest Books in a Flash for cooperation

Short videos have become a major means of timely entertainment for modern people, but their extremely simplified content has led to the neglect of deeper thinking and narrative quality. By parodying short videos and simplifying famous literature of various countries to tease and ridicule this phenomenon, we call on people to reflect on the value of reading and thinking.

Left) Hiding the unimportant text at the back of the tracing paper, leaving only the important text for the reader to read. (Right) The simplified content is printed on the side of the book.

This technique uses Hybrid illusion, which allows readers to see different text at different distances.

(Bottom Left) Hidden simplifications are created by Figure–ground Illusion. (Right) The title is printed in transparent ink.

(Above) Split the original size book into smaller versions. (Below) The string is stretched and the simplified content is printed. You can understand the synopsis without opening the book.

(Above) When pick up the book, all the pages falls, revealing the simplified words printed on the inside of the cover. (Below) By flipping through quickly, the content will a running light.
