The number of visually impaired people is increasing year by year. According to a World Health Organization research report, it is estimated that approximately 250 million people worldwide have visual problems. About 36 million of them are totally blind or severely visually impaired. According to domestic statistics from 2010 to 2024, among the number of students with disabilities in special education schools, the number of visually impaired students is 22,500.
