The term 'Taiwanese girl' initially referred to females from Taiwan, but with the rise of internet forums, it gradually evolved into a derogatory and offensive term, leading to prejudice and belittlement against women. This project, titled '#Taiwangirl', delves into this issue, attempting to transform the term 'Taiwanese girl' from a negative connotation to one that is positive, respectful, and empowering to women. Through branding, it showcases the characteristics and achievements of women in various industries in Taiwan, such as portraying the fearless leadership of the nation's president, Tsai Ing-wen, and the outstanding accomplishments of world-class athlete Tai Tzu-ying on the international stage.
