Mythological love stories, like our lives, are full of tragedy, romance and drama. However, as people's values change, our connection with myths becomes weaker and weaker.
Three different kinds of love orientations are created, namely, the dramatic Greek underworld love: Hades and Persephone; Narcissus presents the tragic love of the Greek god of narcissism with a touch of sadness; and the Indian myth of the engagement between Urvashi and Pururavas shows the romantic Indian style, full of colorful love situations.
Each mythological tale is divided into five segments, with parts of the story transformed into accessories, and the details of the characters and scenes accurately depicted in electric embroidery material. The wearable nature of the jewelry allows the body to become a stage for action, creating more conversation and bringing the myths closer to people's lives and culture.

KINNIK Design of Assistive Devices for Sarcopenia

Department of Industrial Design, Chaoyang University of Technology

The health of muscles is closely related to elderly individuals. Muscle mass tends to decline with age, which in some severe cases may lead to sarcopenia, causing inconvenience in daily life or an increased risk of falling, and leads to mortality. To mitigate sarcopenia, resistance exercise is the only effective approach to increase muscle mass. Progressive resistance exercise is relatively easier for the elderly to handle in terms of intensity. Therefore, we will focus on resistance exercise and, through the gamification approach, encourage users to unconsciously extend the duration of muscle training. This aims to help individuals aged 65 and above or those with sarcopenia to maintain or improve muscle strength and mass.
