“Liminality is the breakdown of perception and thought, alongside the potential for rebirth. ”
Liminality is the threshold at which stimuli trigger changes in perception. During this liminal period, individuals undergo a process of rethinking, reconceptualizing, and establishing a new order and perspective. It is a phase of being broken down and reassembled.
Analogous to students' final four years, filled with uncertainty and chaos, they experience numerous moments of confusion, transformation, and reconceptualization. However, these experiences gradually shape their thoughts, leading to the construction of a new self, ready to embrace unknown possibilities.
Therefore, we have embraced the concept of liminal dissolution and rebirth as the central theme of our graduation exhibition, inviting viewers to witness the journey of rebirth with us.

Magnetic Pump

Department of Industrial Design, Tunghai University

The educational tool designed for adults combines magnetic pump technology with creative teaching design, providing a fundamental understanding of magnetic pumps. It comes with an e-book and allows hands-on model assembly and interactive learning, enabling users to experience the working process of a magnetic pump firsthand. The tool features a simple and user-friendly design, making it suitable for classroom teaching, laboratory experiments, and individual learning, fostering interest and exploration in science and technology. In addition, it integrates with a hydroponic fountain display, which can only be used in conjunction with the magnetic pump educational tool. Emphasizing the interactive nature of the fountain model, users can personally experience and explore its operation. By applying the principles of the pump, it extends to create a hydroponic landscape fountain. Different parts can be replaced to achieve various styles and effects.
