Liminality

Introduction

“Liminality is the breakdown of perception and thought, alongside the potential for rebirth. ”
Liminality is the threshold at which stimuli trigger changes in perception. During this liminal period, individuals undergo a process of rethinking, reconceptualizing, and establishing a new order and perspective. It is a phase of being broken down and reassembled.

Analogous to students' final four years, filled with uncertainty and chaos, they experience numerous moments of confusion, transformation, and reconceptualization. However, these experiences gradually shape their thoughts, leading to the construction of a new self, ready to embrace unknown possibilities.

Therefore, we have embraced the concept of liminal dissolution and rebirth as the central theme of our graduation exhibition, inviting viewers to witness the process of renewal together.
