Introduction
"The intersection of ideas is the cradle of innovation."
Humans are social animals, yet we are also independent individuals; we are like parallel lines that never intersect. However, through connecting with society and media, our life trajectories intersect at countless points where thoughts collide.
These intersections mark significant transitions for humanity. The intervention of digital media has diversified these points of intersection, offering numerous possibilities for interaction. Through media dissemination, different perspectives and thoughts spread rapidly, sparking deeper reflection, expanding individual perspectives, and forming a global interdependent relationship.
Using overlapping tapes to form an 'X' echoes the theme, while transparent materials express the new possibilities we bring. Combining the unique RGB colors of digital media with standard fonts and extending graphics, within the infinitely extending lines, there is still the possibility of generating new intersections. Each element is based on the core idea of infinity and indefiniteness.
With the rapid development of digital media, we all possess the ability to influence others and society. Through creation, we express ourselves to the outside world. Digital works represent each person's understanding and imagination of intersections, serving as a thread inviting other individuals to intersect once again. The fields covered by our department are quite extensive. This exhibition includes 35 works in visual communication, animation, games, film and television, and multimedia interaction. We hope that the encounters between creators and audiences will form new intersections, promoting the incubation of innovative concepts and bringing infinite possibilities for the future.
