Announcing the statistics for the 2022 YODEX Online Exhibition!

Young Designers' Exhibition (YODEX) is the annual highlight for emerging designers in Taiwan. Even though the offline event was canceled due to the pandemic this year, the online edition can operate 24/7 without social distancing concerns. You can see projects from all categories in the online showrooms, and hit the like button to show your support!

Besides entries from local schools and YODEX Industry-Academia Cooperation Project, exhibits this year also come from Royal College of Art in Britain, Tama Art University in Japan, and other top design schools across the globe. We also unveiled the Virsody virtual showroom for the first time, so each school can design exclusive 3D exhibitions themselves.

Winning submissions

It's great to win, but being nominated is an award in itself!

The Young Pin Design Award is held each year along with the Young Designers’ Exhibition. Out of thousands of exhibiting titles, professional jurors select outstanding and promising works. It’s a significant competition to identify emerging designers in Taiwan.

This year, the competition attracted a total of 4,821 entries from 117 departments in 57 schools, of which 654 entries advanced to the final selection. The panel of judges ultimately selected 9 Best of Young Pin Design Award winners, 51 Young Pin Design Award winners, 3 Circular Design Special Award winners, and 3 Packaging Design Special Award winners, as well as 59 winners of the Young Pin Sponsor Award, all of which shows the remarkable creativity of young students in Taiwan!
