四點設計 Contact to After the Meteor Shower for cooperation
Booth Number: D-22
In the vast universe, there exists a solitary being responsible for creating Earth’s meteor showers. Whenever he soaks in the bathtub, parts of his body transform into shooting stars. Years of stress have caused countless moles to sprout on his skin; whenever he enters the water, they turn into schools of fish that harass him. This daily cycle has gradually numbed him. One day, as he was on the verge of a breakdown, a rainbow appeared silently. It felt as though the universe contained nothing but him and the light—the soul that had always lit up the sky for others had finally encountered its own rainbow glow.

This 6-minute stop-motion animation delivers a haunting exploration of human trafficking, a global crisis inspired by recent real-world events.
During the early stages of development, our research into victim psychology—conducted through international interviews and data analysis—revealed that the wealth gap is often the primary catalyst for such tragedies. This led us to reimagine the classic fairy tale, The Little Match Girl, as a modern allegory.
The story follows a protagonist driven by poverty who is lured into a factory by illusions. Through symbolic depictions of exploitation and trade, the film portrays the victim's transformation into a commodity, serving as a chilling metaphor for the relentless cycle of human trafficking.
