This design transforms Kaiyuan Market into a "breathing circular hub." To address resource waste and poor ventilation, we introduce a "Repair & Resale" system to extend object lifespans. Meanwhile, vertical greening and a central void create a stack effect for passive cooling. We repair not just old objects, but the bond between people and nature, allowing the spirit of cherishing to take root in this symbiotic space.

A green regeneration of Kaiyuan Market, blending a modern traditional market with secondhand repair and sales spaces. As society rapidly changes, the elderly are gradually being phased out, while young people struggle to adapt to the information overload and competitive pressures. Both generations crave balance and belonging. While the internet has shortened the distance of information dissemination, it has also distanced real-world interaction. To bridge this generational gap, we need a space that can simultaneously support the vitality of youth and the wisdom of the elderly.
