外來入侵種「山羌」的數量正在千葉縣內急遽增加。人們將山羌引進日本，卻又對其進行捕捉。儘管捕捉到的山羌有90%皆遭到棄置，其毛皮仍然具有相當優良的品質。因此，我們舉辦了有關山羌皮革製品的工作坊，希望藉此讓人們反思動物危害的議題。
