Light and Dust is a 3D/2D hybrid animated short that utilizes the two elemental energies of "Light" and "Dust" to symbolize stability and change. The story follows a pair of siblings through their journey of partnership, divergence, conflict, and eventual reconciliation.

Inspired by biblical angels and demons, the story is set in a ring-shaped world suspended in the void. The protagonists are two Seraphim: Seraphina, the older sister, who is rational and reserved, representing order and tradition; and Luxsariel, the younger brother, who is lively and curious, representing freedom and creativity. As the first two beings ever created, they are the only ones capable of wielding both Light and Dust. Together, they lead the emerging races of Angels and Demons to build a civilization. However, as their world expands, their differing ideologies lead to a deep rift. Only through mutual understanding can they hope to repair their fractured world.

The Seraphim siblings built stone houses for the newborn angels and demons. Under the guidance of the Seraphim, angels and demons grew up in the settlement. Luxsariel and Seraphina are discussing the development of angels and demons. Seraphina prayed out of concern for the future.

Focusing on Changhua’s "Gaobinge", this project aims to bridge the forgotten fractures of local culture. By reconstructing urban memory through architectural narrative, history is translated into a visceral experience via sensory media. This triggers a deep sense of identity and empathy towards local heritage, evolving the historic structure from a remnant of the past into a sensory realm for cultural sustainability and social engagement.
