Focusing on Changhua’s "Gaobinge", this project aims to bridge the forgotten fractures of local culture. By reconstructing urban memory through architectural narrative, history is translated into a visceral experience via sensory media. This triggers a deep sense of identity and empathy towards local heritage, evolving the historic structure from a remnant of the past into a sensory realm for cultural sustainability and social engagement.

This work uses MR technology to simulate the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities,
presenting effects such as jumping and distorted text to convey their feelings. Afterwards, participants
will write their reflections on a tablet, Which instantly transform into text with handwriting
characteristics typical of people with learning disabilities. Through the contrast between fluent input
and impaired output, it creates deep empathy and sheds light on the unseen half.
