Using urban street trees as its central subject, the project is built around the core idea: “Don’t let the trees on this island become fallen trees.” Against the backdrop of increasingly frequent extreme climate events and high-density urban development, street tree failures have emerged as a growing public safety concern, revealing the alienation and imbalance in the relationship between people and nature within Taiwanese cities.
Starting from this phenomenon, the project focuses on the living conditions of urban street trees and the long-overlooked risks they face. Through an integrated design approach spanning visual communication, product design, and spatial intervention, it further introduces the concept of risk education—emphasizing the importance of cultivating awareness from everyday life and early stages of growth. By strengthening public sensitivity and judgment toward environmental safety, the project ultimately aims to enhance overall urban resilience.

Discover street trees and disaster awareness through a playful, image-driven handbook. Translating falling trees and flood alerts into accessible and easy-to-follow safe routes. Sweep fallen leaves into the leaf brewer for deep fermentation. Members of the general public can closely observe the actua The leaf-shaped roof blends seamlessly into the lush forests of the Metropolitan Park. As a carbon-sequestering building itself, the center houses a carbon recycling exchange.

In the quiet of the night, a spirit guide is sent to an abandoned amusement park, tasked with helping the souls of lost children move on. Though forgotten by time, the park still glows with colorful lights and memories. Guiding the children—now in the form of stuffed dolls— he gradually earns their trust by repairing broken rides and offering gentle companionship, painting a picture of the paradise that awaits them.Yet deep within the park, a soul known as "Big Brother" refuses to leave. Possessing a giant mascot, he unleashes destruction throughout the park. But the guide does not retreat—instead, he gently awakens Big Brother’s memories of his sibling, leading him to let go of the past.In the end, the children walk the bridge of light toward rebirth. The park’s lights shine once more, echoing with warmth and laughter. The guide, lantern in hand and bird on his shoulder, quietly sets off for the next journey.
