“A Second Life for Discarded Garments.” This project uses abandoned clothing as its main material, reshaping the fabric through folding techniques to create bags. It explores how everyday textiles can be reused and given new meaning, while reflecting on the value of materials in a more circular design approach.

The animation depicts a renowned restaurant known for its mysterious cuisine, attracting visitors from around the world. Drawn by its reputation, the protagonist blindly follows the crowd to the restaurant. Eager to fit in, they even change their appearance to match social expectations. Upon realizing something is wrong inside, the protagonist becomes the target of everyone’s scrutiny. Unable to withstand the pressure of the crowd, and seeking the security of belonging, the protagonist denies their own perceptions—ignoring the stench of decay—and is transformed into a fly, willingly consuming the rotten food. This betrayal of reality represents the root of fear. Through this animation, we aim to encourage audiences to value independent thinking and the courage to question, prompting reflection on the importance of individuality and personal integrity.
