Social norms are like invisible shackles, binding our daily lives. People erode their sense of self through forced conformity, gradually falling silent under the weight of reality.

The physical confinement of the old prison is transformed into a ship of fools sailing toward freedom. Through crisscrossing, overlapping paths of wandering and diverse spatial experiences, one achieves sudden clarity while overlooking the mortal world, awakening the true self within this ark far removed from the chaos.

A temporary escape is not an excuse, but a way for one to rediscover the rhythm of breathing amidst suffocating discipline.

A swimming pool bridges the buildings, creating a playful line of sight with those walking on the sky bridge. The lawn serves as a meeting point for indoor and outdoor views, inspiring a diverse range of sports and activities. Wall art paired with gym equipment blends stillness and movement, sparking an intriguing visual clash. The correspondence between the arched windows and mirrors echoes the rigid spatial layout of the former prison cells. here the climbing tower meets the sky bridge, vertical and horizontal lines of sight converge. The Ferris wheel's jail-cell carriages offer a sweeping view that encompasses the entire grounds and the landscape beyond.

Mud ball

Department of Cultural Creativity and Digital Media Design, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology

Mud Continuation Balls are planting modules made from discarded reservoir silt, repurposed through 3D printing. We discovered that overcrowding of seeds during planting can hinder germination. Therefore, Mud Continuation Balls utilize a perforated and structural design to help maintain proper seed spacing while retaining moisture, allowing plants to grow more easily and gradually. Each module can be freely arranged and combined, making it suitable for desktops, small spaces, and even outdoor use, simplifying planting and making it more integrated into daily life. Our goal is to transform reservoir silt, once considered waste, into a material capable of nurturing life. Through the combination of reservoir silt and 3D printing, we aim to truly integrate sustainability into our lives.
