Drawing on the director's personal experiences, we look back at the untold stories of his time in a children's welfare institution. The film captures the mutual support between the children and the social workers, as well as the profound emotions and strength that come from their companionship. We document not only the institutional constraints and societal prejudices faced by these social workers in this environment, but also their hope that the children in their care will grow up well and successfully integrate into society-using their companionship to help these children, abandoned by society and their families, find their way back.
