Urbanization fragments bird habitats, increasing the energy and risks of migration. As high-rise balconies become the primary green spaces for city dwellers, we apply the "ecological stepping stones" concept to transform them into vital way stations. ChirpPal leverages these vertical spaces to connect scattered urban greenery and restore fragmented ecological landscapes. Inspired by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, ChirpPal centers on native plants paired with flexible water and food trays to provide a bird-friendly habitat. A built-in camera and companion app allow users to observe visiting birds and seamlessly upload data to citizen science databases, aiding in ecological tracking. ChirpPal integrates responsible feeding and habitat creation into daily life, building secure stepping stones for birds while bringing vibrant natural landscapes to every balcony.

As habitats fragment, ChirpPal turn city balconies into bird migration stops for daily surprises and unique views. ChirpPal uses the Cornell Bird Lab’s guidelines for proper feeding and habitat creation as its framework, with plants as the core element, supplemented by water and food elements. ChirpPal capitalizes on the trend of balcony greening, combining various installation methods to provide users with a comfortable ecological habitat for birds on their balconies. Linking urban oases, protecting every wing on the journey. Let's turn every city balcony into a haven for migrating birds. Find joy in the unexpected and see your everyday in a new light.

While she is absorbed in the dazzling array of products, she doesn’t notice her mother drifting farther away while talking on the phone. One shopping cart after another separates her from her mom, increasing the distance between them. Panicked, the girl feels overwhelmed by the noise of the supermarket, fearing that her mother’s figure will gradually disappear into the crowd. A sense of fear and loneliness rises within her. Yet she realizes that the only way to reunite with her mother is to summon her courage and push through the layers of shopping carts and people to find her again.
