"Clay to the Future Sustainable Makerspace" centers on sustainable recycling and digital DIY, transforming neglected materials into valuable creative mediums.

Through 3D printing, DIY exchange, and community participation mechanisms, users are not merely consumers, but active participants in production and recycling.

The team uses a "print-to-exchange" model, combining reservoir silt reuse, coral restoration, and sustainable manufacturing to establish a circular system from materials and production to recycling, making sustainability not just a concept, but a real, participatory action.

Through 3D printing and exchange mechanisms, sustainability initiatives can be made more accessible to a wider range of people. The app allows users to select tasks and print, participating in a sustainable circular manufacturing process. Extending printing materials to coral restoration, establishing a circular and regenerative environmental action. Transforming silt into different shapes and uses, thus re-establishing the circular value of materials.

DIVINE TREE OF TAIWAN

Department of Commercial Design, National Taichung University of Science and Technology

"From the forest, for the forest." This two-volume pop-up book set chronicles the epic history of Taiwan’s cypress trees across a sweeping timeline. Through the eyes of tree doctors and researchers, readers confront the modern threats to their survival, while exploring the future of cypress restoration and the Leave No Trace (LNT) philosophy. By restructuring the majesty of these ancient giants through multi-sensory experiences and intricate paper engineering, this project—complete with a magnificent pop-up tree card and botanical fragrance cards—transforms our "natural heritage" into a "cultural memory." As readers turn each page, the millennium-old genetic legacy of the forest resonates with the contemporary world, inspiring us to safeguard Taiwan's most precious green treasure.
