To address the persistent issues of poor ventilation and high humidity in the stairwells of old Taipei apartment buildings, this proposal suggests innovative improvements under the premise of "not altering the fundamental structure." Our goal is to transform the gloomy stairwells into a "Fresh Tunnel for Health Protection." The core strategy is to deploy customized functional modules tailored to the characteristics of different stairwells, converting non-ventilated spaces into "ventilation ducts" that guide air circulation. This effectively eliminates moisture and odors, ensuring a fresh and dry environment. Furthermore, the plan integrates multiple smart features to enhance convenience for residents, including: a safety alert system, real-time weather and air quality information display, optimized smart energy-saving lighting, and an information-sharing space for neighborhood interaction. This comprehensive, smart solution integrating health, safety, and convenience is designed to create a cleaner, brighter, and more functionally complete vertical living space for the residents of old Taipei apartment buildings.
