TrailTunes is a portable audio system specifically designed for recreational cyclists, aiming to create a unique riding experience and accompany cyclists in their biking adventures. TrailTunes can be used not only during rides but also in indoor and outdoor activities, and even for social interactions.

The entire set includes a speaker and a set of sensors. With simple installation, TrailTunes can be mounted on your bike and connected to your phone, allowing you to start enjoying a unique riding journey. During the ride, the sensors of TrailTunes will record changes in speed and vibration intensity, transmitting the data to the speaker. The speaker will then program and play unique riding music. If you choose the remix mode, the device will remix the original song, altering its speed and pitch to accompany the cyclist's journey.

In addition to riding scenarios, TrailTunes can also accompany cyclists during breaks and everyday use. Through the mobile app, it is possible to output audio files for further applications and social sharing, adding a new interactive experience to cycling.

Ecotrapod

Department of Design, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

Currently, global wave-dissipation blocks are primarily made of concrete and cement, which are not suitable for supporting marine life and cannot maintain coastal ecological balance. Their heat-absorbing properties also contribute to ocean and global warming. Additionally, cement production accounts for 8% of global carbon dioxide emissions. "Ecotrapod" is designed with ocean-friendly and waste-recycling principles at its core, using scientific formulas and theories to achieve SDG sustainability goals with minimal environmental impact. It's lighter than traditional wave-dissipation products while maintaining structural stability, helping establish local ecosystems, and challenging the idea that wave-dissipation blocks ruin urban landscapes. It brings sustainable value, meaning, and aesthetics to wave-dissipation.
