Currently, global wave-dissipation blocks are primarily made of concrete and cement, which are not suitable for supporting marine life and cannot maintain coastal ecological balance. Their heat-absorbing properties also contribute to ocean and global warming. Additionally, cement production accounts for 8% of global carbon dioxide emissions.
"Ecotrapod" is designed with ocean-friendly and waste-recycling principles at its core, using scientific formulas and theories to achieve SDG sustainability goals with minimal environmental impact. It's lighter than traditional wave-dissipation products while maintaining structural stability, helping establish local ecosystems, and challenging the idea that wave-dissipation blocks ruin urban landscapes. It brings sustainable value, meaning, and aesthetics to wave-dissipation.
