Introduction
The works exhibited by our department closely align with the theme of the 44th Young Designers' Exhibition: Desirable Tomorrow – The Future I Imagine. Throu design, we express our aspirations and visions of an ideal future. Rooted in design thinking, our approach involves keen observation and empathetic responses to social issues. We address real-world challenges through in-depth research and innovative practice.
In the category of Educational and Social Care Design, students develop inspiring and supportive solutions based on the needs of educational settings and marginalized communities. Lifestyle Product Design focuses on daily life, enhancing user experiences and improving the quality of living through thoughtful creativity.
Spatial and Vehicle Design proposes integrated solutions tailored to specific environments or transportation needs, creating more interactive and user-friendly public spaces. Industrial Assistive Design responds to the demands of local industries by developing tools that improve productivity and efficiency, highlighting the potential of industry-academia collaboration.
Medical Assistive Design and Elderly Assistive Design address the physical and emotional needs of patients and the elderly, offering human-centered innovations for prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Lifestyle Furniture Design merges functionality with aesthetics, creating pieces that are both ergonomic and visually engaging.
These designs not only showcase students' unique visions of the future and problem-solving capabilities but also serve as creative explorations that balance logic and emotion. Each project aspires to open new possibilities for users as they move toward their ideal future.
