Save Sound - 113th Graduation Works Exhibition, Department of Fashion Design, Tainan University of Technology.

Introduction

Tainan University of Technology’s Fashion Design Department Graduation Works Exhibition is mainly a static work exhibition. The design concept is from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s to the 21st century until today. From the past music carriers such as cassettes and CDs to the rise of today’s Bluetooth technology and various online streaming platforms, the choices for listening to music have become more and more diverse. Technology Progress is changing with each passing day. I imagine that the future world will have more possibilities for interpreting "sound". Everyone can save heart-beating sounds in the most convenient way.
The graduation project is divided into three small themes: "Memory of the Sound Forest" uses laser CDs, radios, vinyl and other carriers of sound transmission in the past as the theme to convey the bright and beautiful reverie of the past era; "Wireless Unlimited" modern society listening The ways of music are quite diverse. In this era of technological supremacy, it is very convenient to obtain sound. For example, modern Bluetooth technology, touch screen... and other technologies are blooming. The carriers are no longer restricted and are developing in a variety of ways; The theme of "Sound Journey" is inspired by the universe, the galaxy, and extraterrestrial sound waves, imagining more possibilities of sound technology in the future. Through three different eras, we demonstrate our communication and connection of "sound", which is presented in works, performances, visuals and experiences.
It is hoped that visitors to the exhibition can feel the thoughtful works of graduates from the Fashion Design Department of Tainan University of Technology, and provide more support and encouragement to the graduates.
