Introduction

In an era of rapid transformation, design is no longer merely a response to form, but a means of synchronizing with the environment, technology, and human perception. Resonant Wave adopts “resonance” as its central metaphor, framing ecology, digital culture, and individual expression as interrelated fields of frequency. Through the translation of materials, colors, and structures, the exhibition articulates the multilayered conditions of contemporary life.

The exhibition unfolds through three thematic sections, each representing a distinct frequency of vibration—progressing from ecological systems and digital temporality to individual stylistic expression—forming a sensory continuum that bridges nature and the future.

01｜Ecowave Pulse
Centered on the concept of Ecological Symphony, this section draws from the order and growth logic of natural systems, exploring the symbiotic relationship between humans and the environment through recycled materials and sustainable design strategies. The works incorporate recycled leather, 3D woven textiles, and eco-friendly cotton-linen fabrics, combined with translucent plastics and matte metallic elements. Within a soft visual language, a sense of futurity is constructed. Delicate textures and ecological details function as decoded signals of nature, transformed into rhythmic and layered design expressions. Here, nature is not merely represented, but reinterpreted and expanded into a contemporary eco-aesthetic that is minimal yet warm.
02｜Retro Overdrive
This section is grounded in the notion of Digital Nostalgia, examining how perceptions of time are restructured through technological intervention. Fluorescent accents and interactive electronic elements allow past visual languages to re-emerge within a futuristic context. Structured silhouettes are emphasized, paired with metallic zippers, contrasting stitches, and digital display details to generate strong visual impact. Materials such as high-gloss leather, PVC, reflective fabrics, and transparent acrylic are employed, alongside LED displays and interactive tags that enable responsive engagement. Through the interplay of electric blue, neon yellow, rose gold, and black-and-white contrasts, a visual illusion is constructed—situated between memory and futurity.
03｜Nomadic Color Blocks
Inspired by the idea of a “dynamic puzzle,” this section treats color as a fluid language—moving freely like a nomad across boundaries to construct diverse and playful stylistic narratives. Minimal bag forms serve as a foundation, while color-blocking and structural deconstruction introduce flexibility and transformation. Detachable and reconfigurable elements allow the works to continuously shift between function and expression. A vibrant palette of coral orange, butter yellow, botanical green, and cobalt blue creates a lively and rhythmic visual experience. The works move beyond singular stylistic definitions, becoming ongoing experiments in personal identity and expression.
