四點設計 Contact to Fluttering for cooperation
"Fluttering" refers to the movement of a butterfly as it spreads its wings. Combining Taiwan’s 12 kinds of butterflies and the Japanese confection “Kohakukan” which also features a similar characteristics, refraction. This combination allows viewers to learn about butterfly characteristics in the process of eating.
Taiwan is known as the "Kingdom of Butterflies," with over 400 species of butterflies discovered in Taiwan. They are classified into five families: Nymphalidae, Papilionidae, Pieridae, Lycaenidae, and Hesperiidae. This work showcases five conservation-worthy butterfly species from Taiwan and nine endemic species from different families.
Butterflies are common insects in our daily lives, and their role in pollination is crucial in ecosystems, affecting plant growth and reproduction and indirectly impacting human food supply and livelihoods. By highlighting the everyday act of "eating," this work aims to deepen everyone's understanding and awareness of these familiar yet often overlooked butterfly species.
