This design uses the intertidal zone as its core starting point. Through this intertidal ecological observation kit, we aim to cultivate children's awareness as citizen scientists and combine parent-child learning, allowing children to conduct ecological observation and learning in a real environment. The biological observation device allows children to observe organisms in a safe and friendly way; the biological atlas cards are designed with realistic illustrations and card comparisons, turning abstract biological identification into practical operation.

This is a list of the contents of the intertidal ecological observation kit. This is the operational procedure for product observation activities. The bio-observation device comes in three styles: blue, pink, and yellow.Used to carry organisms and measure them. The transparent biological cards feature fifteen different organisms; they are used for comparison and observation with real organisms.

New Visions, Shared Hearts

Department of Interior Design, Tainan University of Technology

"At its heart, 'Heart to Heart, New to New' captures the spiritual harmony between new immigrants and the local heritage. Each newcomer carries a piece of their home—dreams and memories—into this new land. Yet, loneliness often shadows the path of displacement. Our design creates a 'Space of Inclusion' to bridge the silent gaps between cultures. Here, spatial flow and visual cues turn diversity into discovery. It is a haven where individuals meet, find security, and offer mutual strength. This project transcends physical architecture; it is about belonging, transforming an unfamiliar land into a place where the heart can finally rest—a true home for all.
