Every town in Taiwan holds its own cultural narrative. This project invites children in Maokong to rediscover the hidden stories of their hometown through an interactive educational toolkit designed to connect local culture with experiential learning. Developed in collaboration with Wanxing Elementary School, the project integrates educational strategy with human-centered design. Drawing inspiration from Maokong’s landscape, ecology, tea industry, and religious life, a series of localized learning modules and hands-on teaching aids were created to transform abstract cultural knowledge into engaging, tangible experiences. By encouraging observation, creativity, and discussion, the design supports students in exploring their everyday environment, fostering cultural awareness, emotional attachment to place, and a sustainable sense of civic responsibility.
