Green Cradle

Department of Creative Design, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology

Green Cradle is a space designed for children aged 0–6 and their caregivers. This architecture acts as a bridge between health and nature. By merging food education with interactive learning, we turn allergy prevention into a natural lifestyle rather than a medical burden. Here, every corner of the environment is a tool for discovery, making healthy habits a seamless part of growing up. The park is filled with a variety of allergy-preventive plants, paired with a "Recipe Map" that leads visitors from foraging to cooking healthy, anti-allergy meals. Inside the buildings, natural ventilation and micro-climate systems keep the plants thriving while naturally cooling the space. Through this all-senses experience, visitors learn practical prevention tips in a fun, interactive way, helping to reduce allergy risks in their daily lives.
