This work, titled "Beauty for Sale," reflects on the "appearance anxiety" and "commodification of beauty" in modern society. Design Concept: [Food and sex are fundamental human needs: When beauty becomes a mass-produced dessert] "Beauty for Sale" metaphorically represents the refinement of appearance (such as micro-plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures) as the making of exquisite desserts. We combine human organs with sweet symbols: like the "eyeball" on a macaron, the "ear" and "lips" in the logo, and listing "hyaluronic acid" and "collagen" as dessert ingredients. Visually, it employs romantic and luxurious Baroque borders and pastel colors to create a sophisticated illusion under consumerism. However, beneath this sweet packaging lies a critique of "standardized beauty." By explicitly labeling and selling the process of "becoming beautiful," transforming it into an edible product, we also question whether human uniqueness is gradually disappearing when beauty can be consumed and replicated as quickly as desserts.
