In a rapidly changing city, many local stories and everyday memories are fading, weakening the emotional connection between people and the places they inhabit. “Tales in Time” takes place across three historic sites in Tamsui—The Former Tait & Co. Merchant House, Tamsui Customs Wharf, and Fort San Domingo. Through interactive time-travel experiences, exploratory missions, and story exchanges, participants are invited to share and listen to memories from different generations while rediscovering the cultural identity of these historic spaces. Through exploration and interaction, participants not only reconnect with Tamsui’s history and local culture but also build intergenerational connections and encourage active walking, allowing forgotten stories to be seen, shared, and remembered once again.
