In a rapidly changing city, many local stories and everyday memories are fading, weakening the emotional connection between people and the places they inhabit. “Tales in Time” takes place across three historic sites in Tamsui—The Former Tait & Co. Merchant House, Tamsui Customs Wharf, and Fort San Domingo. Through interactive time-travel experiences, exploratory missions, and story exchanges, participants are invited to share and listen to memories from different generations while rediscovering the cultural identity of these historic spaces. Through exploration and interaction, participants not only reconnect with Tamsui’s history and local culture but also build intergenerational connections and encourage active walking, allowing forgotten stories to be seen, shared, and remembered once again.

A mobile AR game connects Tamsui’s historic sites, guiding players to visit various locations Players take on the role of a Time Keeper to help Tamsui recover her memories Complete the tasks at each historic site and share your stories Exploring the area between Fort San Domingo, Douglas Lapraik & Co., and the Customs Wharf A time-travel sensory experience that takes players back to the past

Bubble Paradise

Department of Digital Media Design, Tatung University

“Bubble Paradise” addresses the growing prevalence of scams and the decline in public awareness of fraud prevention. This exhibition integrates digital interactive experiences with role-playing and everyday-life missions, such as online shopping scenarios and situational tasks, allowing participants to transform abstract knowledge into embodied memory through interactions with apps and physical installations. Using realistic and relatable scam cases, participants personally experience identifying traps and navigating various fraudulent tactics, moving from the illusion of success to the revelation of truth. By turning interaction into physical memory, the exhibition builds resilience through immersive experiences and strengthens digital defense awareness and capabilities.
